We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Payments Configuration Analyst to play a key role in the configuration and maintenance of payment systems that support seamless, secure, and efficient transactions. This role requires a blend of technical acumen and problem-solving abilities to ensure systems operate at peak performance. You will be instrumental in supporting new feature rollouts, onboarding new payment providers, and identifying optimization opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain payment gateways, processors, wallets, and other payment-related systems in accordance with business and compliance requirements.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to support the rollout of new payment solutions and features.
• Conduct configuration testing and validation to ensure system integrity and performance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to payment processing, transaction failures, and system errors, providing timely resolutions.
• Maintain documentation of configuration changes, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
• Analyze payment data to support system optimization and report on performance metrics.
• Provide recommendations for enhancements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a payments, fintech, or technical operations role.
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to work with complex datasets and configuration systems.
• Familiarity with payment processors, gateways, APIs, and related technologies.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, scripting, or other technical tools is a strong plus.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.
