We are hiring an insightful and data-driven Payments Optimization Analyst to support the continuous improvement of the payments ecosystem by identifying trends, inefficiencies, and actionable insights. You will play a crucial role in enhancing transaction success rates, optimizing payment routing, reducing costs, and improving the overall customer payment experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze transaction data to identify patterns, bottlenecks, and areas of optimization across payment channels.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key payment metrics, including approval rates, transaction failures, and cost per transaction.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and finance teams to implement and validate optimization strategies.
• Support A/B testing and experiments related to payment flows, routing strategies, and user behavior.
• Provide insights and recommendations to reduce transaction costs and increase revenue through enhanced payment performance.
• Monitor fraud trends and support initiatives to balance fraud prevention and transaction approval.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in payments.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in payments analytics, data analysis, or fintech environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into clear, actionable insights.
• Experience in working with payment gateways, processors, and data pipelines is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
